Espresso Martini : ウィキペディア英語版 | Espresso Martini
Espresso Martini is a coffee flavored drink, one of many that are called some form of Martini but isn't actually one. It is made with coffee liqueur and vodka.〔http://www.iba-world.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=88〕
Espresso Martini is made by mixing Vodka, Kahlua, sugar syrup and Chilled Espresso in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. It is then shaken and strained in a chilled martini glass. It is garnished with coffee beans and served. Chilled espresso adds caffeine to the drink. There are several claims for the origin of the espresso martini. One of the more common claims is that it was created by Dick Bradsell in 1983 while at the Brasserie Soho〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.diffordsguide.com/magazine/2013-04-23/7/top-100 )〕 in London for a woman who asked for something that would "wake me up, and then fuck me up". According to Dick Bradsell, "The coffee machine at the Soho Brasseries was right next to the station where I served drinks. It was a nightmare, as there were coffee grounds everywhere, so coffee was very much on my mind. And it was all about vodka back then – it was all people were drinking." ==In popular culture==
* In the Chocolate Heaven episode of Giada at Home, Giada de Laurentiis shares a variant of espresso martini, with a chocolate-rimmed glass.〔 〕
